Ninja Time Controls & Keybinds

Knowing your controls is the difference between landing combos and getting farmed. Ninja Time has a deep movement and combat system with chakra charging, dashing, blocking and six jutsu slots.

Below is the full control layout for PC, mobile and controller, followed by the combat combos and movement tricks most players never learn.

PC controls

These are the default keyboard and mouse controls. Some binds, such as the jutsu slots, only become useful once you have unlocked and equipped abilities from the skill tree.

Mobile controls

On mobile, Ninja Time displays an on-screen control layout that mirrors the PC binds. A virtual joystick handles movement while touch buttons cover jumping, attacking, blocking, chakra and your jutsu slots. You can reposition buttons in the settings menu for a comfortable layout.

  • Left joystick: move your character.
  • Jump button: tap to jump, tap again for a double jump.
  • Attack button: basic melee (the M1 equivalent).
  • Block, Chakra and Jutsu buttons mirror F, B and the Z/X/C/V slots.
  • Virtual joystick for movement
  • Jump button for jump and double jump
  • Attack button for basic melee (M1)
  • Block, Chakra and Jutsu buttons mirror F, B and Z/X/C/V slots

Controller

Ninja Time supports controllers on console and PC. Movement uses the left stick, the camera uses the right stick, and the face and trigger buttons map to jump, attack, block and chakra. Open the in-game settings to view and rebind the active controller layout for your device.

  • Left stick: movement
  • Right stick: camera
  • Face buttons: jump, attack, block
  • Triggers: chakra charge and jutsu
  • Rebind in-game Settings for your controller

Combat & combos

Strong play comes from chaining movement into attacks. Charge chakra before fights, use dashes to close gaps and cancel into jutsu for burst damage.

  • Air combo: press Jump right after an unblocked melee hit to launch enemies.
  • Air dash: press Jump then Q to reposition or dodge mid-air.
  • Chakra foot: hold Right Shift to run on walls and water.
  • Always hold B to refill chakra between skill rotations.

Enable Shift Lock (Ctrl) for precise aiming, use Target Lock (Middle Click) on bosses, and keep meditation (I) ready to recover faster after a tough fight.
